Why It Works
Successful hitting takes good mechanics to achieve success. Maximizing the body’s kinetic chain thus utilizing all of the body mass to produce power in the hitting swing is important to successful hitting. Understanding of proper weight distribution and timing of initiation of transferring weight during the hitters swing is essential.
The Hitter’s power drive device trains hitters to initiate their drive towards the pitched ball through their center of gravity and balance while initiating the starting force with their weight back. The device trains hitters to initiate their drive through the swing starting with their back hip and leg which initiates the kinetic power chain of hitting a baseball. Hitters must move linear and then rotational into the baseball.

The leg starts the initial movement to the baseball which transfers energy through their leg and ball of back foot thus creating a power drive. This initial power drive with weight transfer to creates more force at bat swing to ball contact point by speeding the hips, torso and arm speed creating a more explosive hitting swing. This maximizes the lower body weight transfer to upper body
